Previous Experience and Work

Dominic Wong, founder of BoRo Experiences, has created ideas and experiences for a wide range of tourism companies - from independent venues to multi-million pound multinationals, utilising years of idea generation, award-winning marketing, design and launches.

Here are a few case studies that he has worked on.

Mamma Mia 2 Spectacular

We merged cinema with theatre at the Regent Centre, Christchurch to create a 70s themed spectacular which included a tribute act, dance, food and drinks for a premium experience, as well as supporting local businesses.

We created and managed the concept, artwork, logistics, acts, suppliers, decor and the event itself.

The event sold out, generating one of the most profitable evenings of the year for the charity, with one volunteer commenting that it was the best evening in 20 years of him working there.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter

BoRo Experiences founder Dominic Wong was the first marketing director at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter where he set the marketing strategy and brand direction, oversaw the grand opening, Royal visit and launch of the first big capex project The Hogwart's Express.

During his 5 year tenure, the Studio Tour was sold out and received one of the best TripAdvisor ratings for attractions around the world.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

BoRo Experiences founder Dominic Wong was the first marketing director at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood where he led a rebrand to position the attraction the centre of Hollywood film making.

He created, developed and launched Batman: The Exhibit, which became the biggest PR story the Studio Tour has ever received.

He also oversaw the launch of a new experience, Stage 48, which resulted in Clint Eastwood and ZackSnyder attending the opening.

Stealth at Thorpe Park

BoRo Experiences founder Dominic Wong was part of the launch team for the rollercoaster Stealth.

Whilst at Thorpe Park he devised, created and launched an on-park team to increase sales of annual passes and fasttrack tickets, increasing sales by 100% in year one.

The concept is still in use today across the Merlin Entertainments estate, 15 years after first launching.

Education Programmes

BoRo Experiences founder Dominic Wong develops and creates educational programmes for visitor attractions to attract schools in off-peak times of the year.

Clients included Kidzania, the View from the Shard, Beano Comics, Emirates Spinnaker Tower and the Emmerdale Studio Experience - which won Best Schools Programme at the British Youth Awards in 2018.
